This is an auxiliary unit for operation of the main equipment of booster compressor station (BCS).
BPG-50 is located in a block-modular building, which includes:

- - process room;
- - ventilation chamber;
- - instrumentation room;
- - coolant preparation room.
The design was carried out by the gas equipment design department specialists. The device was manufactured at the Yekaterinburg plant.
